San Diego Zest FC would like to officially announce that it will host a 2-Day Japan Men’s Pro Soccer Combine presented by ApamanShop on December 16th and 17th in Fukuoka, Japan.

A number of clubs with affiliations to top American Soccer Leagues, notably Major League Soccer (MLS), United Soccer League (USL), North American Soccer League (NASL), and Premier Development League (PDL), will travel to Japan to scout up-and-coming prospects to help improve their clubs for their upcoming 2018 season.

Approximately 100 talented soccer players, featuring J-League (Japanese Professional Football League), college, and high school prospects, will attend this combine to showcase themselves with the hopes of playing professional soccer here in the United States. Not only will this combine feature Japanese players, but will also feature soccer prospects from other Asian countries such as Korea, China, Vietnam, India, etc., who would also like to showcase their skills and talent.

San Diego Zest FC would like to use Japan Men’s Pro Soccer Combine as an opportunity to help further American soccer connect with Japanese soccer. Zest FC already possesses a partnership with J-League clubs Avispa Fukuoka and strong relationship with AC Nagano Parceiro.

Japan Men’s Soccer Pro Combine will be held at Fukuoka Global Arena, located in Fukuoka Japan. This complex features three full-soccer pitch and will provide all players maximum opportunities to perform for professional clubs attending this combine.

About San Diego Zest FC

San Diego Zest FC was established in 2016 by a sports management company called San Diego Sports Authority, hereafter SDSA, located at San Diego, CA. The project was started in 2014 with aim of developing the local community soccer level and providing Japanese soccer players the path to pro here in the United States. Zest FC have played two seasons in the Premier Development League (PDL), making the playoffs in its debut season (2016) and making an appearance in the U.S. Open Cup (2017). Zest FC also launched a UPSL club, Zest FC 2, which started play in UPSL’s 2017 Fall Season, and WPSL club (San Diego Zest FC Women), which will start play in WPSL’s 2018 season.
